Coach Bio - Monica Valdes

This will be my 7th year of coaching at PVC! I have coached 16-3 Silver for 2 years and 12-1 Pink for 4 years. This year I will be the assistant coach for 16-1 Blue. I played D1 collegiate volleyball at the University of Portland as a libero and defensive specialist. I attended Central Catholic High School where I was on Varsity for 3 years winning 2 State Championships in a row. I played for PVC for 3 years total, 1 year on 16-1 Blue and 2 years on 18-1 Black. Volleyball has been a huge part of my life and is my passion. I am excited to continue being involved with the sport!
